A significant number of companies are attempting to develop flexible work mechanisms and designs for their employees. These flexible work designs depend on both corporate will and the managers in direct contact with the employee. Understanding that flexible work assignments are part of a non-monetary and symbolic emotional salary, this document attempts to present a practical method, from an applied perspective, to measure the economic value associated with flexible work designs.
